Its on the high side for what people build LSX turbo shortblocks for which seem to average around 8:5 to 1 compression and certainly is not ideal.
That being said, with your goals, a good tune and running straight methanol, you should be good to go but just can't get real with the boost and it will be good for making more power with less boost at 9:5 to 1 and 700rwhp should be easy to achieve with the right cam and heads, etc!
Thanks, I appreciate it. It would make me feel alot better if I could get the C/R under 10. Is there any disadvantage to running a thicker headgasket or is it smooth sailing?
not a big deal but you want to maintain as tight a quench as possible imo
