Default LC1 help

Ok, So I've been working on this thing for 2 days. The A@A supercharger install was easier. I have everything installed and try to hook up to my laptop to program the gauge. My laptop does not have a serial port so I get an adapter. Can't get anything from the lc1. Work all day figuring its the laptop adapter. Give up on laptop. Get home computer moved to shop. Still no luck talking to lc1. Instructions for hookup are almost nil. Hooked the In from the controller to the serial port on the computer. Can anyone give me a hint. The gauge is working but not putting out the right numbers so I assume the controller is good.

Check out the innovate website for the manual. Mine is 22 pages.
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php

Page 11 has details on the serial port hookup.

Regardless, the Serial OUT needs to be hooked to the serial port on your laptop. The Serial IN needs the terminator plug in it.

I recall having problems with mine and found out the terminator plug was in the hole, but not pushed in all the way. I had to push pretty hard to get it to snap in and then everything worked okay.
