I'm running a slp maf and a ported TB as well as the blackwing.

you are pulling 3" of water or Hg at the top end?

3" of water is not much of a vacuum, only like 0.1psi, 1.5psi if you are talking Hg. are you seeing any knock retard?, what are your valve springs? at 10psi the ls1 springs will give you a problem.

I would log my KR,IAT's, and look for belt slip, you are showing a good improvment by replacing the MAF but you may have some valve float going on at peak boost.

oh yea remove the blinking screen.

I'm showing more tq than hp also and the more you up the drive ratio the more your tq will exceed your hp unless you clean up the intake further. keep in ming that your TB is onlt 75mm so even putting in the 85mm maf will only move the restriction further up the intake. check your airfilter also.

More Than Zero
David, thanks for the input, I don't think it is a spring issue. WHen John Page sent his blower cam we went with better springs, but I guess one could be bad. By the way runs were made sithout a filter and the 02 MAF still has a screen. Old filter wouldn't fit. New on is on the way. I think Jeff to me knock is not showing so that should be ok. I think if we get the vacumn fixed we can clean the rest up. Any ideas??

Mike is there any way you can have the tuner post a copy of the run log(s) so we can see timing, KR, etc.?

Looking at the dyno chart, the runs that dip into the 10.ish AFR range aren't helping your torque/hp numbers.

Any chance you have clogged cats, or valve train adjustment issues? Anything that would prevent the air from leaving.

It was $343 shipped to me, and that is with a gasket (O-ring) for the TB. I had a LS2 TB I am going to use. Everybody claims they are easy to tune, so I went with it. And you can get a new one for under $250

Now I just need a MAF that will match the air-flow. Which Big Lew, I have a feeling that is why you are getting your vacuum! I think you need to either descreen your MAF, or do away with it and go SD full time. Does anyone know the CMF airflow of a screened MAF vs descreened?

Hey Red, you will love the 90 mm inlet and throttle body. My set-up has the 90 mm inlet and LS2 throttle body. Last week we made 517 rwhp on the Z06 at A&A with the 3.5 pulley on a stock bottom. Your set-up should hoepfully make more. Good luck!
