Ok.... I"ll post up questions about N20 a little later but right now i figured you guys would be the ones to help answer a my traction questions..
I have cammed 98 114k M6 putting down 382.6 at the wheels.. i still have a couple more bolt ons and heads to get me well into the 400's... after that comes forced induction... But for now.. I can't figure out how to get my 382RWHP to the wheels... I"m thinking DR's but i'm afaird of breaking my IRS.... what do can i do? is breaking it something i Just have to accept? If so what do i replace it with that wont' break? I know many of you are producing 500,600,800 rwhp...how do you get it to teh ground and what are you doing about your IRS?
If you're really concerned with rear-end strength, you'd call DTE for their rear-end bracing. Stronger output shafts are a good idea as well.
However, at 382rw, I don't see this as an issue. I could be talking out of my *** here, but I think you'll be fine with DR's at that level. Honestly, I think guys have cut 1.6-1.7 60' on the stock rear/shafts/etc... so you should be fine.

Can anyone confirm this?
Well I don't know much about the Internal Revenue Service, but I do a lot of drag racing with my C5 and I'm putting down 595rwhp, but I have a 4L60E so I can't rev it up to 5K and drop the clutch. I have a different rear end (stock out of a 6 speed) and haven't had any problems. I don't think you have to worry too much unless you start running slicks and up your HP. Actually I don't think you would want to try any high rpm starts with street tires, because you wont be going anywhere spinning your tires.
