A little Surging...
I came back from Iraq for mid-tour leave a few days ago and picked my car up from the tuners, drove it 900 miles and dropped it off for storage until I come home (about 4 months from now).
I really wanted to do the work but I've been gone, ect.
The car drove great!! Got 27.3 MPG Average and I drove it like an idiot the first few days!!! This thing is a hand full!! I love it!! You guys with 700-800 must love it!! Forged 383 and 10lbs here it come!
The only thing I noticed I didn't care for was a slight "buck" when I would let me foot completely out of the throttle from a low throttle setting. Happens everytime. RPM doesn't seem to matter.
1500 RPM foot bearly resting on the throttle and if I let up, it bucks once or twice.
People who rode with me could hardly notice it.
I guess I'm wondering if the bypass valve can be adjusted or what's causing it.
Thanks a lot for the help in advance. Any help that you guys/ gals can give would be great!!
Happy 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:f lag:
Brian-
might also be a timing issue... my car bucks a bit if the timing is a bit too low when the AFR is lean (I run lean at light loads for fuel economy).
Do you have any means to tune your car?
I thought Phil tuned your stuff.
