I am considering changing my cam from the LS6 cam to the G5XB, what type of gains should I expect over the LS6 cam I have now. 1/4 gain and hp gain.

Mods are in my sig.

Had one installed in my stock motor and picked up 2mph in the 1/4 mile. I went from 126mph to 128mph. Lost little power under 3 thousand RPM but had more power on top. If I was you,I would try MTI's blower cam. I have it in my car now and I love it. Spec's 228- 232- 588- 575- 115.

I will check it out and see. What are the specs on it? What is power difference in it and the G5XB

I see you edited and posted specs of the cam, will the 918 springs work or will I need some dual springs?
