i have been noticing when you step on it the boost gauge goes write to 5psi but wont hit the 6-6.5 mark until it shifts. is this common? i have the stock kit but with the upgraded springs. last time my tunner told me the silcone hoses were to short and they were blowing off so i got longer ones. i dont think this is the problem or its just me. because on the freeway when the car hits 100mph its showing 6-6.5 psi
When I was running 5psi it would creep up to 6psi right before each shift.
what was your fix ?. i am not sure if i have the upgraded springs. i am begining to think i dont and i am just seeing boost creep. what spring do you have ? is it the green one. what were your final # with 8 psi ?
STS WON'T admit there's a need for two Wastegates, but there is. That's boost creep all right...
Rick sent me a new 'over the axle' pipe with a different flange orientation that is supposed to allow the WG to direct the exhaust out in a more efficient fashion. Since i've been so busy, it won't go on till next week.

.
This may because they did most of Beta testing on the Z06. I've been told (but, never really verified) that the H-pipe in the Z is fully-open and truly functional as a crossover.
Still, whatever the case, I've only got a single WG in my '03 LS1 car ... and don't see B.C.
Im not sure what the fix was. I know with the 5psi spring and other issues I saw some creep. With the 8psi spring it stays rock solid on 8psi. I have two X's in the exhaust and no cats...one wastegate.
Still working on the tuning so I dont have any new numbers...but the car is a completely different animal at 8psi

Yes ... life's great at super-8.
Of course for the Undertaker .... with his "stroker" motor, he can go for a sweet-16.
