Alky Question
What happens if my car is being sitting down for about 5 months with Methanol on tha winshield wiper tank..........My question is, does Methanol go bad............

In a covered tank you will have no deterioration or decomposition but issues will arise if methanol is not protected from exposure to contamination, including exposure to the atmosphere
As an example, methanol is hygroscopic, i.e., it readily absorbs moisture. So some water will be introduced as it will be absorbed moisture directly from the air.

Mine was down for about 6 months and the pump seized up..They replaced it without question though. I think it had something to do with me having an early generation pump. I kinda remember it being the seals in the pump swelling.
