I'm in the process of building a 383 stroker after blowing up my stock motor. I want to know what good blower cams are there. Nothing to radical but also streetable.
I have no idea--LPE did all the work so I don't know about the cam install. I don't have any video clips, but it idles at 750rpm with a mild lope/shake. Not much more than stock but it does have more valvetrain noise than stock. This setup could be a daily driver with no problem
I am not crazy about SLP in general, but this cam worked out perfect for a FI setup...
218/222 .555/.569 115.5 LSA 4* advance built in... they stopped making this cam about a year and half ago so I don't know anywhere you can get it any more
it idles like a stock car but it defiently helped when the blower was added
I ran an LPE GT2-3 cam all last year. It definitely made more power than the previous setup and was extremely streetable. Honestly - you can't tell it isn't stock.
After trying 2 different cams on my P1SC the next cam is going to go right against the norm. If I want to pass emissions i think a 224/224 single pattern on a 114 would be good. My reasoning is I think the single pattern will give you more powerunder the curve as boost builds. This should make for a very fat torque curve. I don't think the splits are really worth on the centri setups.
