Default Valentine One

Well guys this is probably not the right place for this but........

I went to Houston this morning and just got back, I am happy I purchased a Valentine One, drove 90-95 the entire way there and back and I got saved 6 total times.......I like the warning that I got from incoming TDPS officers, Only one time it went to Laser and that was coming up to a hill....I guess its been paid for in one trip.

I only use mine on trips longer than 30 minutes or so. It annoys me too much driving around in the city.

Disable X band = no more false positives (except for grocery store doors, which are obvious)

You will get answers that both are better than the other....both work extremely well...for me it just came down to features...I like to know where they are coming from...so I chose V1

FWIW...I had both and l was very pleased with both and thought performance was comparable.

This works well...just make sure the police in your area does not have any X band still in issue. X band extremely rare for police use nowadays but there are some jurisdictions that do not have a large budget and still use them...

I see X band used in PA and in NJ. I think they use it so that ppl like us will ignore it and not take heed to our detectors warnings.

So, what is the best setup for "total" protection?
(detection and counter measures)

Can anyone provide referalls/links for manufacturers/dealers/installers?

What about license plate "mods" for the camera cops?
