Turbos are definitely more expensive, at least initially. A lot of it comes down to your goals with the car. It's when you factor in an 8 or 10 rib upgrade, long tube headers, electric water pump, and gears that the price difference between a supercharger and twin turbo kit becomes a wash.

Well I disagree here, my 6 rib has had no issues with the 742 rwhp/655rwtq, did I mention I no have over 4500 miles on my setup and no issues. Oh I just put on some used TPIS Headers (Very Cheap), not the LG or Kooks and no electric water pump and it is not a wash, just because you have a sour taste in your mouth for the DS1C there are many happy owners and I am one of those. Sure if I wanted to run 18+ boost (I see 14lbs) I would have to install the 8 or 10 rib setup oh the 10 rib just came out was not in production when I put on my used given up for scrap A&A DS1C last summer, in fact all of those fancy TT setups were yet to be proven, did you not just get your TT setup finally running?

Do you ever have anything positive to say when someone wants to run a Blower, not everyone had a crappy install, I know mine was a first class one, kind of why your car went to the Dr for this setup, atleast as far as the tuning goes. Forum members especially new ones want to hear postive things, not just getting a TT setup and be done with it. I know what I spent on my used DS1C, TPIS Headers and ECS Alky kit you still are thousands away from the STS kit that is going on a few of our forum members and even more for the setup you have. Not everyone has deep pockets for a TT setup and there are quite a few blowers out there that will work for 90% of the rodders and I am one of them.

Quit driving your axe against those of us with blowers, just explain that you really need a quality install and a tune, and yes the belt can be throwin off, but with a proper alignment, this should be a non-issue, like mine has been, as I know others have successful setups and there are those that have your experience of not working right and I will go back to the quality of the install as the most important factor of keeping on your belt and the tune is equally important as this part is for the TT crowd, AFR across the board is important to not going boom, I do not care if it is a blower or Twins

Not all supercharged cars have problems. I'm on my second supercharger. 1st a Maggie and now the ECS Paxton. No problems with either. Just takes a good "proper setup" install and tune. I wanted twinturbos but couldn't justify the extra costs and install time...
