Default EFILive Speed Density

For those that have used EFILive Flashscan and speed density, I'd like to get some feedback on how well it's working (both the product overall, and the speed density tuning aspect).

Any bugs in the software, tuning, speed density, etc.? Or does it all work pretty well now? How about the addon features like valet mode and the two-step? Does the two-step work by cutting spark?

I think I can upgrade to EFILive Commercial for custom OS flashes for around $500, since I have an older version of EFILive and would buy an upgrade license. With all these cool things in EFILive, I don't see a reason why I'd go any other direction. But it's always good to ask here first.

I run EFILive speed density. Vortech S-trim making 12 PSI on a stock bottom end, no intercooler with dual nozzle methanol. Injecting massive amounts of methanol makes tuning tricky, but the software is fantastic. My tune is unaffected by weather changes.

I haven't tried valet or 2-step features though.

You have a wideband already right? It's pretty much a requirement to go SD.

Thanks for the info, this is helpful. Yes, I have a wideband, but I am going with a different one (the LC1) as I heard it can plug right into the EFI black box so that you can log AFR along with other PIDs.

If your wideband has a linear output, it is pretty simple to get it to work. If nonlinear not that much harder for a smart guy like yourself.

You just enter the transfer equation into a custom pid. Will probably take you half an hour - But you don't have to buy a new wideband.

I use the dynojet wideband commander with my SD setup with success.

Oh yea, something else I need to hook up. Thanks for reminding me. Is it fairly easy to get this correct? Do you use both of the plugs provided with the Flashscan? (I haven't looked a the directions yet).

My car is tuned with EFI Live Flashscan/roadrebel/LC1 and it is perfect! I have a 382 with .611/.619 242/250 cam and 4000 stall, drives very nicely! Greenlight Motorsports (Chad) did mine here in Indiana. Very happy with it.
