I have a Maggie, LT headers, GHL Bullets. I run about 6.5 psi with a 3.1 pulley at an elevation of 4500 feet. Last dyno was 440rwhp 420 rwtq. Would it be worth installing an ECS alky system? I don't plan tuning it with the methanol. I wondered if lowering the intake temps with the meth would warrant the install. Also, could I install it myself, and is there a lot of headache and maintenance with these systems? Thanks in advance!
hmm well installing a kit does take some time. Mine took about 2+ hours and this was at ECS
also the only reason i got it bec i upped the boost to 7 lbs i would not have gotten it for less then 5 lbs. I have a prochager though.
So if you got an extra 600 lying around i would buy the kit it is cheap and does help

If you can afford the added protection (yes, similar to insurance) then the alky is a no brainer and just makes your f/i set-up that much more reliable/durable (over the long haul)!!
