i would stay with the stock turbos at first at least, if you dont make enough power then upgrade, it costs the same to upgrade when you buy the kit or later, the bast turbos make boost faster and Cajundude is making 750 to the wheels on thoes turbos, i know he has a forged motor but im not exactly sure on the cubes. definately go with a BOV and boost controller and if you are planning on running big boost a methanol kit too. i dont havea foged motor yet, but i will eventually. also if you have a stock fuel pump youll want to up grade that. good luck its agreat kit, you will love it

We have made over 700 with the stock kit, forged bottom end, and stock heads. With a good set of heads you should be able to get there without switching turbo's, that way they spool up quicker.

Is that 700 on stock displacement motor? Im building a 370 iron block for boost and can't decide between the base turbos or upgraded...

Cajundude is running a 402 with the stock turbos and he's making 800rwhp/800rwtq. So the stock turbos should be fine for a 370...

Stock displacement, it made 14lbs without any boost loss.

Actually he made the 800/800 at 12.6 psi..
He has turned it up, but I would guess is maxing out the turbo's with the way he currently setup.
I believe his dyno sheet is on his website.

I think Jason would know how much boost he was running. I am sure he will be happy to step in and clear it up. When you made your post the graph was not there.. I was just posting what he said himself.

I believe I am maxed out with the base turbos. We went up to 16 psi on the dyno and still only yielded 790. I have seen 18+ on the street I guess due to the extra load.

So, if that is enough power for you, get the base turbos. I am thinking of upgrading to the 60 ball ball bearing turbos. I still need to get to the track though. Should be soon as the weather is finally in the lower 90s and even the 80s at night. I will try to go on the week of the 17th. I am going to the CF picnic in Dallas on the 16th so I don't want to break anything before then.

Oh yea, before I upgrade the turbos I also want to throw on a 100 shot to see what that will do. Of course, if I do upgrade the turbos, I will probably be upgrading the fuel system as well. Don't think I need it, but it is certainly better to have and not need than to need and not have.

I'm in socal. If you buy a kit, just let them know we met for a demo and you liked mine. They've been excellent to do business with and I'd be happy to help them earn another happy customer.
