Default HP kit/Issues running closed loop

Have HP kit with 67MM turbos and I have not been able to run in closed loop because the O2s dont stay hot enough and end up getting gumped up. Have been running forced/tuned open loop but am sick of the varying A/F ratio. I have two ideas for running closed loop without issues.

Place the O2s in front of the turbos? Has anyone done this? Would it be too hot for the stock O2s? I know the heat is less with the larger turbos....

Use rear after cat O2s in the HP bungs because I have been told they get hotter because there after the cats....Has anyone done this? I no longer have the rear O2s and I dont want to buy them if they are not going to work....Any help greatly appreciated....

Ok I am very familiar with running wide band O2 and I always run mine after the turbo with out any problems....

My question is in regards to narrow band stock O2s that I have not been able to successfuly run them in closed loop for along period of time with-out degrading issues with the HP kit---lots of piping...So I either want to run it in front of the turbo---I think STS still set up the cars with the stock O2s in front of the turbos with no problems and fully pass emissions, however there alot further from the turbo...

Or can I run after cat O2s that wont have problems???

Get a set of Denso Rear O2s, they have a higher wattage and stay hotter. I'd also make sure they are about 12" or so from the turbine exit.

I really doubt that the problem is in the location!
I never experienced any prob with my setup.
The heat should not make much difference either ways (colder/hotter), since it is not the heat that is measured but the oxygen.
Btw, if your piping is coated with jethot the gasses inside keeps the heat longer...!
Do you get any code? one or both sensors?

You need the heat to keep them from degrading and getting fouled so they cant measure oxygen content.

The ticket was to put them in front of the turbos and just extend the wiring. No problems so far with alot of driving-perfect O2 signal.

Some HP owners are having problems and some are not.
