Default Mods help

I'm running a stock LS1 with Andy's P1SC kit (8psi) and I apreciate any comments how I can improve my dyno curve so that my max hp starts at lower rpm and runs flat till max rpm. My curve is very linear up to 6200rpm.

Will a cam, heads or header help me out?

Ron

Ron, The first thing i would try is the smallest pulley you can get without slip. I think a 3.6 will work without slipping. This will make your boost come on much faster. Then you can play with timing on the bottom and midrange for more punch and just pull timing on the top end to keep it safe-doing this will essentially shift your entire power curve to the left. Or another option would be to swap or upgrade to a D1SC and run a restricter plate to limit boost on the top end.

Hang on-you don't have headers? No way! Get them-that's like 50 hp just waiting to get unlocked!

A 3.6 pulley will push his boost too high on a stock motor IMO.

What size pulley are your running and some LT headers are a must to exhale all the extra air you are pumping in. Pulley and headers first before you decide to put in a cam. I like my cam from Andy as it works just fine

Power is power. What's the difference if it's generated with a supercharger or on motor?

Ron, did you see my latest dyno? It's overlayed with my dyno when my Z06 was stock-there was absolutely nothing lost in the lower just gained. Header for sure will give you a very nice boost-if you want something complete with hi-flow cats there are so many to choose from. It really doesn't matter what brand you pick-it's going to give you very nice boost in power. You'll probalby lose some boost because your getting rid of backpressure-then you can add the lost boost back with a pulley change. With the meth and very safe tune I think the stock bottom can go along way.
