KaaaaBoom....
I lost #5 cylinder today on my stock bottom. Took a friend for a ride and small puff of smoke and ck eng light. Get home and #5 is cold....
Lucky for me I have my new forged motor sitting in the garage already. Just need to put it together..

No Meth, 15degs timing, 10.8/1 AFR. I'm sure it was a ringland on #5... I ordered all the remainder of the parts/gaskets/bearings for the new motor last night. It wont be down for long...
And yes Doug I will be turning up the wick a little..

Bro-what kind of CR are going to build your shortblock around? I'm getting parts ready to build mine also but I think I'm going to stick with my 317 heads and a flat top piston to give me around 9.7-9.85?

Mine comes out to 8.9/1 compression. Stock crank, Eagle 6.125" rods, Diamond pistons with -8.6cc reverse dome and 72cc 6.0L heads...
