Nitrous solenoid question
Do nitrous solenoids have a high hold current that would cause them to burn up or live a real short life if they are energized for extended periods of time (e.g., an hour or more?)

I'm going to use one to control boost signals and was just trying to determine the best way to wire it up. Now that I know a simple on/off switch is bad, I'll just open/close the solenoid as appropriate using Hobbs switches.
