I have a 99 A4 that I just installed nitrous on. Borlas exhaust, twin filter intake, 2.73 gears, Predator. I know not to run the performance tune with nitrous. How do I modify paramaters on the factory tune or how do I tell how much to modify performance tune. When in the modify setup, it gives amount from zero either plus or minus. Not sure what zero is in the performance tune? Any suggestions? Shot will be a 75 dyno tune dry shot.
Thanks
I have a 99 and used the predator to get me going. You should be fine with the 75 shot. What you want to do is have a buddy (or the mrs/miss) monitor the KR when you spray. If you see KR than use the predator to pull a little timing. I did not have to pull any timing till i got above a hundred shot.
I did have trouble maintaining a Safe AFR when I got above a 50 shot, I ended up putting 42 pound injectors in to get above a 50 Dry safely.
I have a dual cone filter fitting with the nozzle 4 inches from the MAF where it T's out. I do have an AFR pillar gauge mounted and right now it reads 900 WOT without the nitrous. Still getting everything hooked up. Trying to figure out how to wire the dynotune automatic bottle warmer and the nitrous pressure pillar gauge up!
As long as your spraying right at the MAF you should be OK, your using the NB gauge I take it. Your IDC will likely be over 100%, mine was 106% with a 50 shot.
On the Nitrous Pressure gauge, after spending all day wiring black to ground on everything else, I was trying to get the N2O gauge to work, and despite reading the instructions, I kept trying to put the gauge black wire to ground and it would not work LOL. So don't make the same mistake I did, Black is not ground on the DynoTune Pressure gauge
