I have a 2002 C5 and im putting nitrous wet kit on it very soon. The kit came off my brothers C5 so i have everything i need. He had his nozzle mounted after the throttle body in the neck of the intake manifold. What i was wondering was if that is the correct place to mount it ? I have seen others where the nozzle is mounted in the air bridge but i was told not to mut it there. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys
I would be concerned that having the nozzle in the neck of the intake, the front cylinders may not be getting as much Nitrous as the rear cylinders. It may have worked for the other guy, but most of the kit instructions on the wet nozzle systems say IIRC 4-6" in front of the TB.
What Kit is it? Likely you can find the instructions online.

I would move it to the intake coupler, 4"-6" in front of the TB. If you run a very big shot (125-150) with it in it's present location, you could lean out the front 2 cylinders.
Here is a known spot that works fine. Really what's happening is your filling your plenum, then as each clyinder fires you pull from the plenum, not the front of the intake opening. When's the last time you heard of a front cly dropping from the spray? This has been used mucho times and no "real" reports of issues, just speculation.

i understand now....So i will look into getting a ring kit. Thanks for all the info guys. Oh an it is a cold fusion kit so i will look for some directions.
I know my TNT wet f1 kit uses a power ring with dual nozzles which are farther away from the TB. Few inches not much.
Yes, the above pic is a CF wet nozzle. It's actually mounted through the clamp and the aluminum of the TB. DTE had the first plate kit and it mounted between the TB and the intake, it was a dual nozzle set-up and worked fine.

Go to the home page of ND in my sig, there is a install DVD for the CF kits online. You really don't need a ring kit. You can put it in the neck as suggested above. I choose not to because of the stock accordian bellows, and other spots farther away did not allow the nozzle to protrude into the air stream enough and I did not want it bounincg off the side of the neck and/or pooling in the accordian bellows.
