Lately I've been driving my wife nutz, as I know most of us do. I'm wanting to go from my current A&A setup to the TTiX or APS kit. My question is are the TT kits that much better? The only experience I've had with Turbo applications was my GMC Syclone (Sold = the worst mistake I've ever made).
Any regrets or thoughts/results? Any type of input would be greatly appreciated. I trying to make my mind up on a kit and I plan on pullin the trigger by the first of the year.
For the guys that went from a SC to TT setup what made up your mind?
Guys thanks I look forward to your responses.

You are so asking the wrong people. LOL. You basically just walked into a room full of crack heads and asked if you should give it a try.
I'll give you my input. Turbos are cool and a better overall power adder for sure. Now the vette is a pretty light car and already has major traction and driveline stability issues with even the tq of an cent blower (~600rwtq). I sort of like the tq curve of the blowers on the 6spd vettes myself, but there is no denying that a properly designed turbo kit is more exciting to drive around in. They really shine with an auto. It comes on hard and fast. The blowers give you a bit more predictable feel.
My car currently makes 700rwhp and about 570rwtq. It still scares the crap out of me all the time with my current street tire setup. I can't imagine what it is like trying to harnesss 700+rwtq with any type of street tire. Spinning in 4th gear can be a very sobbering experince (also a bit frustrating when a much lower powered car flys by as you are trying to gain control).

I'm 99.9% sure that I'm going to go with a TT kit.
Whats everyones thoughts on a Forged Bottom end 347 or 4XX? From everything I've read people are making insane numbers with 347's and those small TTix turbos.
What are most of you running kit wise and cubic inches? The only reason I'm asking is I want a proven kit and Short Block.
Your just as crazy as I am-lol! Both a SC or TT have advantages or disadvantages but in the end they work when setup right-hell look at my car 10.45@136 with a stick and only 650 rwhp. On the street the first 3 gears are useless-even if I roll into 3rd on the highway she starts to spin. Bottom line-everyone in this section of the forums is on crack-we can't get enough-lol. TTix is the kit to go if you want TT's-the results speak for themselves!
I have bee ngoing nuts lately on deciding between a S/C, TT or a head and cam package. I am close to LPE so the TT's seem to make the most sense. I see there has been a few 346 TTX cars get into the low tens and nines but I dont think there has been a 346 S/C car in the nines yet that I have seen. I am sure Andy with all the S/C stuff he builds has got to have a 9 sec 346 by now.

People have gone into the 9's with the TTi Stage X kit on a 347 as well as larger cube motors.
What is your power goal with the car and what type of fuel do you plan on running?
I planning on going with the ECS Fuel system. I want to run pump gas with alky like I do now, but I wouldn't mind throwing alittle 110 into the mix for the haters.
