zero FI experience - questions
I'm considering going with a used centrifical SC setup on my 03 Z06.
What would I be looking for if I was going to buy a used one?
How do you know if you're getting all the parts?
Is one brand more DIY friendly than another.
I know, may be simple questions, but have to learn somewhere...

I bought a used Vortech kit off ebay. I way lucked out cuz it worked pretty good. The boost pressure was a little low though. I put on a smaller pulley. That kept it going for a little while.. til it ate a couple impeller blades. Vortech warranteed it (not sure why) and boost when sky rocketing. Back to the original pulley and ran great.
I just don't think I'd do it again.

Don't now how much you expect save with a used kit, but talk to ECS, their new kits come with injectors, fuel items, etc. It might not be worth wondering if you have everything you need.
