Default Procharger Stage 2 ?

ANY BODY USING THE STAGE 2 KIT DID YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FOG LIGHTS TO INSTALL INTERCOOLERS? AND IS THE TUNER KIT THE BETTER WAY TO GO. I THINK THE P1SC HEAD UNIT WOULD MAKE PLENTY OF BOOST FOR A STOCK BLOCK AND WOULD 42# INJECTOR BE BETTER THAN 60# ONLY GOING FOR 500 RWH THANKS FOR THE HELP!

My car is having the Procharger Stage 2 kit being installed as I write this. Actually, it has been installed, but waiting for a couple of parts to come in to complete. I just took a look and the fog lights are still there, Maybe now is the time to change to the Piaa driving lights, while access is so easy. Mine is the tuner kit also, and I believe the tuner is going with 42* injectors, as my power goals are about the same. Not sure, but I think 60* injectors are much too large, I’m sure others will be able to answer that question better.

Good luck with the Procharger,

Clayton from Las Vegas

If your planning for 500rwhp and never anymore p1sc is fine.

Id go with the d1sc better to upgrade now. Makes more power and earlier. Also when you want to upgrade to a forged setup then you can run bigger boost.

I went with the P1SC1. I have no intension to go any higher then this setup will give me. I have driven several 450+ HP Vettes on the street and traction is a joke. Besides, I don't have a forged bottom and if I go any higher in HP, I will blow the engine for sure. With about 500 HP and an alky system for safety purposes only, I think the motoe will stay together for quite some time. But like others will tell you, if higher HP levels is in your future (along with forged internals) then go with the D1SC and be prepared to spend a lot more money. My future mods will consist of apperance items for my own pleasure. I don't really care what other people say in regards to apperance items.

Default I have One...To Answer Your Question...

The Twin intercoolers mount behind the front bumper outer-edge air slots that are there for air flow to the front brakes .The fog lamps are inside the larger central slot openings. For a stock LS1, 42# injectors will handle up to 10psi of boost with the P1SC head, based upon which size blower pulley is installed. The standard P1SC Stage II pulley usually is a 4.38"...which will provide 7-8psi boost, with correct tune. Go with a 4.00" pulley if you want 9-10psi and, that is all you should go with on a stock block. That will give you "close" to 500RWHP with LT headers,X pipe, hiflo Cats & a Bullet or PRT exhaust system...AND PROPER TUNE.........BillyBob TrussMe
