Do you have the RPM multiplier and the input set correctly? When I first used it I called FJO and had them on the line to help me with the settings because the instructions left a lot to be desired.

I cant even get the lap top to recognize the FJO. I took it in to have it dynoed and the shop could not get anything to come on. They thought the FJO was bad. What can the problem be??Very frusterated

Are you getting power to the FJO? There are lights on it. Do you have the software installed on your laptop? You have to install the software on your laptop first b4 your laptop will recognize it. Windows wont just recognize it.

I have the software loaded on the computer. When you plug in usb connector you get nothing except the pic of the graph where you need to make your settings but it shows that it is disconected when it is connected. When you turn the key in the ignition should lights come on on the unit? If so I dont have lights that come on. I want this to work but cant seem to get it to .How can I trouble shoot here??

Yes when you turn the key on for the ignition you should have lights on the mini controller. If no lights then the power source you are using is not supplying the correct voltage. Therefore you will not get a connection with your laptop. Right b4 I shipped it out to you my friend wanted the exact settings off of that unit. We hooked it up to a power source and I pulled the settings off of it and gave them to him. He has a 408ci nitrous car with the same unit. He's building an identical setup as my old except in an F-body. We had the same issue when we first got the unit. I had to call FJO because the instructions were missing a few important need to know things. Another source of information that hooks the mini controllers up all the time is ls1tech.com in the nitrous section. There are quite a few guys running this same unit.. Once you get it wired correctly you will love it.

I have found FJO to be very good with their customer support. Call them at 204-254-5623 and talk with Gerald at extension 112.
