Gates K060888

Anyone running a Gates K060888 instead of a K060895. I have a D1SC 6 rib (4.10 pulley) with a older A&A bracket. The K060895 belts can be removed with some effort, but not much. The tensioner is not creating enough tension. What are my options? Smaller Belt? like a K060888? I just wonder if anyone else has had this tensioner issue.

i was told to loose the gates and get a gator back......tell you in a couple days if it was worth it

I'm pretty impressed with my gatorback! I went through 3 gates trying to get the tension right. The first gatorback I bought has held strong!

Ditto here. I dropped the Gates belt and went with Gatorback. No more slip, and it's a bit quieter to boot.
