Default how much boost can I run?

Happy Holidays to All!

I have a stock bottom end 2002 coupe with Cartek heads and cam with 11:1 compression and a STS TT running 5.5lbs of boost. I dynoed at 595RWHP and 495Ft lbs of torque. I know my compression is very high since the heads were milled and it was set up for NA. I'm running 60lb injectors and a boost-a-pump. I have two questions.

1) Would it be safe to turn up the boost a bit? (maybe 8lbs)

2) Would I benefit from an alky/methanol injection system from Julio?

Thank you all in advance,
Eddie

I really don't think you should push the boost up any higher and some alky will give you a margin of safety in case you ever have a fuel problem.

You're brave running that boost with that compression....

Default Boost

Well if you want to turn up the boost, you can go as hi as you want but you are probably pushing it now with that much compression. I would be looking into a forged bottom end and build it around 9:1

Good Luck..........

Sell the heads, buy some that will drop your compression, then add Alky inj. and turn up the boost...

I would add Alky right now at that compression. Plus the Alky will add 30-40rwhp..

You are pushing it now without being forged

Get those heads changed or at a min put the Alky on, but best bet is both or if one thing goes wrong boom it will be
