Well... I am all ears guys!
I wanna hear the good, the bad, and the people riding the fence.
What size Vortech head-unit will you be running? Did you go with the standard Vortech kit, or the DTE or A&A packages?
What is your power goal?

I have searched all over for an engine builder in this area and finally found a guy named Dale Voyles to do it. I have heard good things about him and he is a very standup guy.
Thanks for all the comments guys! Keep 'em comin!
I would be happy with anything over 600RWHP. I could be way out of range with those thoughts but would love to see it.

The last spec clutch that i installed did not even bolt up to the flywheel without having to drill out a hole. I've asked around and found this is actually fairly common. Having to drill out a pressure plate like that means likely the unit's not all that balanced either. I just highly recommend just about anything other than Spec or LUK.

CONGRATS on your KILLER forged LS6 motor which looks very impressive and should be able to withstand a lot of forced induction punishment!
I couldn't agree more with this statement. I've had both these clutches in my car when it was just head and cam. I smoked the Luk in less than a year(car only gets driven on the weekends) with only 486rwhp and never went to the track. I then switched over to the spec 3, went through the break in and it wouldn't shift at high rpm's. The shop put another spec in the car and after break in the same thing happened. They switched to a centerforce dual friction and I had no problems at all. I'm not saying I recommend the centerforce for your car just saying that I would stay away from the other brands mentioned. I also had a buddy of mine with and MTI 427 went with the spec and the same thing happened to his car with the high rpm shifts.

Then that would be an adequate setup. Thats my plan in the near future, but the money isnt here for the t-trim. Hopefully next year I can upgrade to a T-trim and throw some boost at this thing.

I thought S trim was good upto 700+rwhp?
Oh and I checked my bearings and they are clevite and dura bond cam bearings.
