Its a very clean setup, I cant wait!! I noticed different air bridges, I like the powder coated tube is that an option on the X kit?
I don't think it's a TTi option, but if you're interested shoot me an email and I'll try to track down some info for you. The pipe is inexpensive, looks nice, works great when spraying meth, and was one third the cost of a BBK bridge. To me it was a no brainer.

with the clean setup's and the can't wait part will the tube type air bridge create more psi/quicker boost then the stock type air bridge ? this is important to me, when I spoke with a specialist by the name of DR.PHIL I was diagnose with a case of (lackaboostaphobia) from my current system, and he suggested that I go bb's and .63AR housings this will support my 650 hp goal and my fear of any lag . from my understanding the bb's and the .63ar's will be a little twitchie tell I get use to it, or relearn how to use my right foot . will the tube type air bridge make it that much twichier ? cause I don't want to over do it it's just a question/or somthing i thought about when I read your post. I don't even have the thing yet
thanks gary
You won't notice a drivability or boost difference between a tube air bridge and the BBK air bridge pictured above. The shape/bend of both bridges is inconsequential when you think about the shaping and bending the air has to go to before it even hits the air bridge.
The tube is one of the roadrebel tweeks done to the kit for the non-stock installations. It makes it a nice clean setup, especially when using an alky kit, etc.
It also requires modification of the radiator cradle, which requires some fabrication skills and a welder.
If you are interested contact either Phil or I and if he is not interested in making the modifications for you, I can, unless you have the ability to fabricate it yourself, in which case we can give you some direction on what is necessary.
To those who have installed this kit: HOW FRIGGIN HARD IS IT TO INSTALL??? This kit looks like you'd have to have snakes for arms and magical tools to install? seriously how bad is install VS say the PTK kit?

The kit will literally bolt in the way it comes. RoadRebels experience has been very helpful in making some necessary tweeks to the kit. This information has been conveyed to TTi and I am confident the necessary things will be included in the updated instructions.
As for the difficulty... it is time consuming, not difficult. There is nothing that is really really hard with it. For example.. when doing a blower kit, pinning the crank for me a huge pain. There is nothing like that with this kit. Everything fits well, but it is tight.
I have only done it on a lift, so it is much easier than doing it on the floor but it can and has been done.
YEs it was helpful the fact of how tight it must be concerns me. I like the PTK kit the best but with regard to how much heat turbo's produce I can see that kit destroying every hood I put on my car unless I blanket my entire engine bay...Does the TTi kit produce alot of excess heat? and if so can it be contained

The only heat wrap I have anywhere on my car is over the starter and solenoid wires and drive it all of the time when it well over 95 with 90%+ humidity. I have no issues. I don't have any of the heat wrap on the exhaust that comes with the kit either.. and I don't recommend using it.

I live in Florida and I did not notice any extra heat to be honest. As for the comments about building boost. I have to produce lag to get it. What I mean is I have to put my car in 4th and roll from 40mph to see any lag and even then hold on because what lag there is is short lived. People I cruise around in 5th gear around town because the car builds boost so fast. On my setup I am at 9 to 10lbs by 2500rpm at part throttle. Thats over 650rwhp.

It does look very clean!
Do you have any pics of the modifications necessary to the Rad Cradle to be able to use 3.5" or 4" charge tubing instead of a "Cobra head" style airbridge.
