One of the plus' with the kit is that with the restrictor plates you do not need to change pulley sizing for a big range of HP. The base kit comes with a 3.5" pulley, that can used for 8 to 14 lbs, just by removing or changing the plate opening size with the same snappy bottom end of the high boost setting.
For instance, we have had customers decide to forge the bottom end, leave the six rib and bring it to 650+rwhp by simply removing the restrictor plate. Plus with a forged bottom end the rpm band can be raised to increase boost also.
We have made over 700rwhp that way, but we recommend the eight rib upgrade over the 650 area.
