I agre with MIKE'S CORVETTE above and say your average professional LSX mechanic will charge you around $1,500.00 installed and another 400.00 tuned on a dyno.

does not permit...and I'd hate to see this kit sit in my garage

Thunder Racing quoted me $895 for my procharger install. I was low on cash so I just did it myself. It's really not that hard if you just follow their instructions carefully. I did it on jackstands in my driveway over the course of a weekend. I'm not a mechanic and have limited tools, but I think I could do it agian in 10hrs or less. With that in mind I think anything over $1000 is too much.
