Default Procharger PCV setup

Can someone on here please help me to set my PCV up properly. I have used the search, but I want to make sure I get this right. I was hoping somebody who absolutely had an excellent grasp could help me out with some pictures and why it works. Im so confused on this issue. Thanks in advance for the help. If it's easier to explain over the phone I can be reached at 225-445-2530 Ben.

It is in the instructions. The only change is the routing of the line from the valve cover to the airbridge. If left as is, it would pressurize the crankcase. The line from the valve cover now gets routed to the airfilter instead using the supplied hose.

Let me know if you need more help.

Setup would be the same for the fresh air side as I described. The "better" part would be installing a check valve right after the PCV valve which insures no boost leaks past the PCV valve. You can use a generic check valve or a crank vent.

Do a search for crankvent.

It will not hurt the car to run it as long as you reroute the fresh air supply to atmosphere. I simply run the line from the valve cover to a filter.

Others run a breather filter in place of the oil cap. This is fine but will not pass visual on emissions inspection.

I believe A&A addresses that issue in the sticky at the top, just down a few comments on the first page...

This is the information I'm looking for. I just need to know what parts to buy and where to install them. I need to be treated like an idiot with this because I really don't have a good grasp of its true function. Everyone seems to make it seem easy, but I don't get it.

I've got mine going from the top of the valve cover to a catch can, to the air inlet elbow. (you can get a plastic 90degree fitting at lowes for that) plug the throttle body port on the passenger side, the stock checkvalve doesnt work well in certain situations, so thats why they say to buy one and just run a hose between the two.

Bro-take a pic of your engine compartment on the passenger side and email it to me-then call me at work tomorrow. Also run over to Thunder Racing and pic up there pcv catch can-grab me one too! You will need to order a one way check valve from McMaster carr-the part # for that is 7775K52. I'll draw up a rough sketch and fax it back to you-it's pretty simple and will do a good job of keeping the oil out of the intake.

Learned the hard way today that the little filter elements need to be removed from the catch cans like the ones pictured here.

Mine froze from water vapor today while driving home and shot the dipstick tube out and made a terrible mess.

Not everyone lives in Minnesota but be aware this can freeze and block ventilation...god knows what other damage I did.
