Default Fuel pressure ?

Just curious about what psi you guys are running on your FI car and how high is safe (or what number is safe).

I cruise at OEM pressure (58ish) but as soon as my secondary pump kicks in I see about 70psi. I'd prefer it ran 58-60 all the time but can't get my regulator to do that, so I just tuned it out in my PE table.

Ah, I see. I was/am worried that I have seen over 70psi when in boost. Cruising around shows a steady 64psi, but if it can be modified with the tune, I guess that is how my builder set it up.

The only two reasons you should see extra pressure under boost are if your regulator is boost referenced or if your fuel system delivers extra flow (second pump?) under boost/WOT.

If either of these are true -- you're fine. In addition, generally speaking, don't worry about higher fuel pressure IF that fuel pressure is holding.

That makes me feel a lot better. I have the ECS fuel setup, so it has the 2nd pump.

The pressure is constant out of boost and in boost.
