Default Dirty A&A filter...

The blue air filter that came with my A&A P1SC kit has done a great job and caught a lot of dirt and debris...

Are these filters compatible with the K&N cleaning and re-oiling kits?

Thanks!

Yes. The filter will have a purple color when you are done, but it works fine.

You should be fine to clean it with the K&N stuff, I did mine, but now it just looks like a K&N.

This is good to know. I have Andy's A&A Procharger kit w/ his custom air intake. I don't know what it's made of, but it's blue in color. I asked him and he didn't know either!
I would think the Blackwing kit would be best if it is truly a synthetic fiber, but I thought I'd ask.

It's made by Donalson - makers of the Blackwing. The Blackwing kit or the K&N kit would be fine.

Correction: The filters are made by aFe, right here in SoCal. Donaldson may be a VAR. I do agree that either cleaning kit is fine.

Cleaned mine this past weekend. Quite a few leaves stuck between the intercooler/radiator and some between the 2 radiator units themselves which I couldn't get out. Filter was quite dirty, but the K&N kit did a very nice job on it.
