Default Meth injected??

How many of you guys running a meth kit? I've been looking around, Snow performance has a kit, does anyone run this? Are there any others out there? How hard is installation? Power gains?? Is meth going to be compatable with a H/C?? What other things would I need to install if I went with the meth kit?

Yup, Ive got the ECS kit, which is done by Julio at alky control, supplied by Synergy and installed by OC Corvette.

Damn, wonder if I could have involved a few more vendors in that one!

Works great, I like knowing I can rail the car in the heat and actually have the intake temps drop.

Default meth

I'm running a Snow performance meth kit on my Vortech boosted Z06. I bought the kit without much research, but it's served me well for the past couple of years. Snow has done well, I had a bad pump and they replaced it. If I have any problems again, I'm going to go with the Alky Control kit. JUILO KNOWS MORE ABOUT METH INJECTION THAN ANYONE!
Julio took the time to talk meth with me even though I had another kit. This man is 100% character and integrity.

I have no experience yet with the ESC Kit....(yet)

But last night we did just wrap up a SNOW Performance Kit. For my best friends car that has been dying for it.

Install took just a couple hours. (counting all wires being soldered, and heat wrapped) Nice easy 3 wire installation even with the boost/pump controller. Set the pump to come on at 5psi, and start ramping in the meth as she works her way up to 28psi of boost.

Likly one of the "best mods" of the last couple years that everyones been coo koo about. Easy to install, Cheap, easy to test prior to use, and great performance results.

From what the owner of Snow Performance has told me. They are actually about to get a new kit out. That will work with the factory computer, and look sensors like MAF voltage, as well as throttle position, to inject the correct amount of Meth...... now tell me that isn't cool.

watch what happens to the smurf blue fisher price lines on the other kits after a year or so

I gained close to 40rwhp by using the kit as a power adder.

I just got off the phone with Matt owner of Snow Performance, and grabbed a kit for my Vortech car. (About time, I been lazy)

Matt said that as of Jan. 2007 alllllll of their parts are 100% meth compatible. They can be soaked and stored in 100% meth, or run dry as well. With absolutely no ill effects.

The pumps they are now using are built specific for them from Shur-Flow. Both for the Psi levels, and the fact of running 100% meth. ( Standard Shur-flow pumps can be bought at graingers, but I knew something was different about the ones they were using )

He said the only reason why his website, and product stuff dictates using a 50/50 mix is the following.

1) His insurance won't cover him stating to run 100% meth due to flammability reasons.

2) Most people don't need anymore then a 50/50 mix, and it helps him diagnose tuning issues over the phone easier, by keeping things consistent (or trying to)

3) If your fittings leak, with 100% meth, and spray gets near something Hot...... well, it's ALLLLL over, cause then you got a nice fire on your hands.

Well, thats all.....just figured since I just got off the phone with him, I would throw that up here.

Good day,
EA
