Should I go ahead and pin the crank while I'm putting on my TT kit? It was brought to my attention that even though I don't have the extra strain on the pulley from a supercharger, I will have the extra torque that could potentially loosen the crank bolt.
Good idea, bad idea?
p.s. Stock LS6 bottom. I will be tearing it apart anyways to replace the 3 problematic cam bolts with loc-tited ARPs.
spun mine off twice with no pin in the crank. Ever since i pinned the crank, no more problems. Definatly worth it!!
Yea, a friend of mine on here (SprayedC5) was having horrible trouble trying to keep his on. He has a sprayed 402 that apparently didn't get along with it's crank bolt, as it was constantly trying to give it the boot. He pinned his and the problem went away.
Where's the best place to pick up a pinning kit? I'd rather do it and not need it, then need it, and not have done it....

Same here. Once @ Phil's (Road Rebel) and after getting back spun off again in about 500 miles. The problem is when you spin the tires hard with the rpm shooting up so fast the accessories can catch up and adds tremendous load. Pinned it no problems since.
