Default Two-step?

Anyone know where I can get a two-step for my stick car? I keep hearing great things about the Harlan two-step but I think the only way you can get those now is used.

I know EFILive has a two-step function built into the COS but it's a fuel cut instead of a spark cut and won't allow me to build boost. The RPM limiter is the icing, building a small amount of boost at the line is the cake for me.

Synergy Motorsports has a pretty good one from what I hear. Word is they will build it to suit your specific setup.

Synergy Motorsports has a 2 step manufactured for them. PM Rick and he should be able to give you the low down. If i'm not mistaken, they have it custom tailored to your needs.

Is there an echo in here?

BTW, I think I might need a 2-step as well, lol. What's Rick's S/N?

The forum has been wacky lately, I have personally posted things that show up as the 1st response to a thread one minute and show up as the 4th response to a thread the next...

Thanks for the tips guys, I will call Synergy tomorrow!

Harlans resesigned 2-step will be available very soon. It has some upgraded I/O logic functions as well a high power relay output.

Hmmmm, is the new 2 step functionally that different from the old one? I mean, I just need to set a limiter and be able to build boost. Not even sure what I'd use the relay for at this point.

I installed Harlan's old unit on a Stage2 LPE car last summer. Works like a charm. Builds around 3.5 to 4 psi at 3000 rpm in a manual trans. Easy to hook up with the factory plugs that's on the kit.

Look for a used one.

Well, it has logic level input switching for set and trigger in a latched state. This means you have use a High or low to set or trigger. IT also has outputs that will set when armed. Its usefull for a LOT of things if you put your mind to it

Default LPE 2-step

I realize this is an old thread but we are releasing our own 2-step/launch controller this week. It should be on the web site in the next couple of days and is actually already on the eBay store. I hope to have engine dyno video to post somewhere soon. I also hope to get pictures and video from some of our beta customers that I could post as well.

Wow, the unit is even priced right. I don't know what you are selling them for on your store but if it's the eBay price, I have a feeling you are going to sell a lot of these.

LPE 2 step, garage temps have dropped below 110* in the day, 2bar SD tune that I've been putting off due to heat exhaustion and working... it's all coming together, this winter is going to be a blast! (yeah, us Floridians do it backwards, we shelf our cars in the summer due to heat and daily rain but when winter rolls around the racers come out to play )

I guess this would not help much on a supercharged car.

It wont build boost on a supercharged car, but it will help out with the launch. I will be buying one for sure.

SC cars don't need a two step to build boost off the line, all then need is RPM

You don't need one with a turbo car either if you know how its done. But it does make it easier and also helps out with consistancy if you had a set RPM to launch from.

Are the LPE ones available? Didn't see them on Fleabay, how much? Looks like a plug and play.
