Default Help with boost gauge install

Before tackling this task, I was wondering what would
be the best place to tee into for the boost line and where
the best location is to enter at the firewall? TIA for any
suggestions.

I was able to snake the boost line through the same opening where the hood release cable goes through. I cut the hose coming from the power brake booster and put the tee on there. If your running a BOV you can also tee it off of the line running to that. I hope that helps.

Default Boost Gauge

Just T it up at the Brake Booster, thats where mine is. You actually have few places to run it inside through the firewall.

I'm going to T off the brake booster when I install my gauges since I'm boosted now, but I'm interested if you have pics or where you put it through the firewall

I slipped mione in throught the same hole as my hood release cable! Worked out well!

I used a chaser wire to poke throuh and then I taped it to that and slowly pulled it through into the cab!

Thanks,Matt

Ditto.

I used an old metal hanger and taped the gauge leads to it and shoved it through.

Default Boost Gauge

Here's another question about installing your boost gauge. Where do you tap into the dash lighting circuit with the gauge so that it lights up when you turn your lights on??
Thanks.

I did not wire mine into the lights I did not want to play with the harness I just picked up power in the passenger side fuse panel (keyed hot) there are a few places in the panel to get the power with out haveing to tap into the harnesses.
