Is BAP for Mustang cannot be used on Vette?

I noticed the one I got from a mustang kit,had the variable control assy missing,wires were soldered together and capped.I called Kenne bell and was told some of them were done that way from the factory,not adjustable from cockpit.

I did that with mine when i had one. Just puts it on max all the time. That is what your going to do anyway.

I bought one w/o switch as well.

You do not want to bypass the pressure switch and run the higher votage (17.5Volts wires shorted) all the time, that will shorten your pump life. You do want to get a switch that closes the contacts at above 2-3lbs.

Y'all know what kind of switch I can get to replace the Kenne Bell switch?

Again, be clear on what switch your talking about, as there are two. Once is a boost pressure switch, which increase the voltage based on positive pressure. The other switch tells it how much voltage to increase it by. That switch can be on max all the time so it is always 17v.

Oop!!! Look like I don't have any switch ...
I'll call Kenne Bell tomorrow to either buy switches or the whole new BAP.
