I know this is more of a tech question but I also know that a lot of people here run a BAP. I have the Kenne Bell and I bought it used with no directions. Before I installed it I checked to make sure it worked OK and one of my questions is this, when not in boost, should there still be 12volts running through the line? I tested it and there is still 12 Volts coming threw the line, and then when i close the circuit it jumps up to 17 like it's supposed to. So i figured no big deal, I'll hook it up to a relay. Here's the other problem, if I hook it up to a relay I will have to hook it up to something that only turns on when the car is actually running, no just in the ON position, right? At 3AM as I was wrapping up tonight the only thing i could think of was pulling off of the RPM input on the back of the cluster to operate the relay. Will it work, or will it cause issues with the tach? Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for any help!! Dan
www.lingenfelter.com has a wiring diagram in the how to, it's the light green taped harness
you cut the fuel pump wire, the 12v would be needed to run the pump at all times
if you are running a RT hotwire setup, it's a bit different, RT supplies you with connecters to run bap, Jason/cajundude has the writeup on his site if going the rt route

Thanks Steve! i'm going to look there now. Yeah, I'm not running theRT harness, I had already looked at Cajundude's site. I looked at Kenne Bell's site, the forum How to Tech, but I didn't think of Lingenfelter. Let me check it out. Thanks, Dan

OK, went to the site, it's the greay connector, light green tape, I'm sure I can find that, how do I know which one is Pin C, I'm assuming it's 3 to the right, or left, buthow do oyu know which side to start counting from? is this the same wire we hooked into for the scavenge pump for the APS kit? I understand what they do now, they actually replace the fuel pump wire. i figured a direct line to the battery and a relay so that the heavier amps and heaveir voltage is all run threw the thicker gauge line? I'm guessing that's the plus of the RT Harness, it has a direct line to the battery. Thanks, Dan
Dan,
When you pull that whole connector out (you need to remove the battery), the connector got labeled C for pin C and it is gray color.
Good luck!!!
