While I have become intimately familiar with my v2-t s/c, I am no expert, so I have a question for someone who is. I keep ending up with oil accumulating in the inlet duct and leaking out on the floor from the clamped area where the inlet duct mounts to the s/c. I have had the head rebuilt twice, thinking the seals were bad...still the same result. The performance is great, and there is no strange noise coming from the supercharger, so I am now officially out of ideas. There is no pcv line anywhere, since I added a catch can and ran the pcv to the intake. I suppose it's possible that the rebuilder screwed up twice, but that doesn't seem likely, since he guarantees his work and was somewhat embarrassed when I returned it the first time. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Is the oil coming from the inlet side of the SC and leaking out between the SC and filter?

The oil is accumulating in the inlet duct, and through the air passage from the air filter on. Then when the vehicle is parked, it drains at the junction where the inlet duct is clamped to the s/c. What defies logic, to me anyway, is that the only source of oil in that whole air inlet system, is the impellor side of the s/c, which is actually sucking air at a considerable force. So how does the oil flow out of the impellor area, having to overcome that force? Keep in mind...there is no pcv line going to the air intake, whatsoever. Also, this type of dilemma is very common in every situation that I find myself involved in. Most experts end up muttering..."..never seen that before....". My friends like to refer to this as the "Dave factor".

If it's not very much oil, I think it comes from your oil impregnated air filter. Every time I've used them stuff downstream gets oily.

Where is your air supply for the crankcase hooked up? Not the PCV end, but the other end?

That makes sense...I suppose the oil could be coming from the air filter. I recently cleaned and re-oiled the K&N filter. The pcv line connects to an oil catch can inlet and from the outlet goes to the throttle body. I had it connected at the plastic air inlet, but thought that would definitely suck oil into it. I am using an oil breather also. It's not a lot of oil,....maybe a couple quarter to half dollar size spots on the floor after sitting for several hours.
