Default Oil Consumption

I have an A&A car that seems to be using some oil. I am thinking that its in the way I have the PCV setup done. I have a little vacuum going from the intake to the valve cover with a check valve in it to keep from pressurizing the crankcase. Is it possible the vacuum is sucking some of the oil from the valve cover into the intake? Do I need a seperator of some sort in there?

Yes, that a VERY common problem.

But depending on "How Much" oil is being consumed, it could just be the charicteristics of the motor.

How much oil are you burning?

So you breathe everything to the atmosphere? I am thinking of doing this, I have high-tension rings. It just might get smelly in my catchcan from time to time.
