Evans seems to do a great job. Depending on your climate more distilled water on % basis is also beneficial because water caries more heat per pound then antifreeze. Also look into “water wetter”.

You haven't filled out your public profile so we don't know where you live. But, if you don't have any freezing temperatures, distilled water and Redline Water Wetter without antifreeze will give you maximum engine cooling.

Anyone use 40 Below? Don't use it but if anyone has
Evans is nice since it keeps heated systems from boiling. Which, a system bleeding pressure (from the cap) from steam will eventually get hotter and hotter. I've heard it doesn't necessarily keep the temperature down any better the best ww/distilled but repeated stability session after session is worth alot.

Hey Arnel,
I used it. I wouldnt do it again theough. It caused a thick white film on everything. I just had to have my radiator boiled out.
But it did work..

How long before I would need to change it again?
Where do you get your distilled water?

Since i live in Cali, I run light on the coolant between 30-40% and one bottle of water wetter, the rest is distilled. I buy all my water at the store in the 1 gal, or 2.5 gal containers. A 1 gallon shouldn't cost more than a dollar. I always try to keep a few on hand

In AZ, Phoenix metro, where I don't worry about the cold, but definitely do care about exceptional cooling, I run 15% coolant for lubrication, distilled water, and 1 bottle of Water Wetter.

What set up do you have? What kind of coolant temps are you seeing this time of year?
Thanks,
Bob
