Who all is running Patriot heads with nitrous? My local speed shop is really pushing AFRs but I can get the patriots a lot cheaper and they flow about same as the 205s. Just curious about the nitrous too, since an added power boost is always welcomed. Thanks
Me too, i have 02 Z with 125 shots wet and just got the head same from my friend thinking about put it in but dont know how much power can it add on. maybe i will let you know after i am done with that set up..
Unless your NHRA bound, just pick the heads most compatible with n/a needs. Unless your going over about 300rwhp shot don't worry about going with a dedicated nitrous head.

Never heard of a 'dedicated nitrous head'. What makes a nitrous head? The cam characteristics are far more important than the heads in a nitrous setup. Of course, the better the head flows the more power it will make reguardless of the application.
I've ran stock heads, Patriot heads, and Texas Speed heads all with nitrous. As long as all supporting issues are covered then the motor really shines with a good heads/cam/nitrous setup. The AFR's offer a thicker deck which is nice for larger shots, but otherwise My old Patriot and my TSP Stage 2.5 heads both worked well with >100hp of nitrous.

Yep, bigger exhaust valve and opening of the exhaust port, both over n/a needs, and spray specific. They are available, and a current thread over at ls1tech. That's a problem when spraying big, getting the after burn out the exhaust to help keep temps down and to make more efficent power ie: sprayed VE.
Same with cam choice, just choose what fits your n/a needs the best, again unless NHRA bound/going big no need for a dedicated nitrous cam.
