cant give you much advice because there is a lack of info here, what are we talking a Procharger kit vrs Vortech kit, what blower on the Vortech are we comparing and are we talking about an A&A vrs ECS kit or factory.. You can never put enough information.

What do you have auto or stick (Z06) coupe, etc. Any gears ?
At a minimum you are going to need to beef up tranny if an auto or replace clutch.
Also would recommend DTE brace and hardened output splines.
i know about the clutch going to run until it goes. the vortech is v-2 sqc trim high output polished. the psc1 is a stage 11 intercooled.i am not runing headers but have high flow cats i hope they can handle the heat. also have k&n intake and b&b bullets. going to install 410 gears down the road and headers.

You put 4.10 gears in and all you'll do is spin and burn up tires. Many of the Lingenfelter top speed runs were done with 3.15 or 2.73 gears in automatics. Of course they had 1000+ HP.
something to think about.my plan was 4.10s but that was without fi need to rethink that one. even with sticky tires it will be real hard to lock up with 4.10s.
I would give ECS a call. They really know their shiite and they aren't too far from you.
BTW...Where are you driving your C5 in RI? I went up there last month to visit my parents and one damn trip up to Providence knocked my car out of alignment. I think it was the construction zone on 95 near Cheater's that did it.
I would seriously consider taking the money you plan to spend on gears and put it elsewhere. 4:10's with a blower and any kind of horsepower will be a waste of money unless you plan on putting on smoke shows

If you are going to stick with the stock clutch...you may just want to do headers and a tune for now. That may be all your tires and clutch will hold.

Unless you're planning on keeping it a track only car I would stay away from the 4:10 gear ration...going to be horrible on the highway. In addition, with all that power your going to just spin through 1st and 2nd anyway.

Slowhawk is in your area. I'm sure he can hook you up with a nice CS setup.
When all is said and done, you'll probably pay similar pricing for either setup. I'd be asking myself what the major differences are and which do I prefer. The first one that comes to mind is Procharger has self-contained oiling and Vortech uses engine oil.
