Guys,
Which wire are you tapping into for the intercooler power lead? (yellow wire) What is the source of the wire? The instruction manual states that 97-00 have three gray wire a and 01 and up have two in the white wiring block. I have a 03 with three gray wires. I probed all 3 wires with a test wire and didn't get any power. I called Magnuson and Callaway but haven't got an answer. Thanks very much!

You have to tap into the gray wire for the fuel pump..look at oem manual wiring diagrams

Thank you very much. Now I just need to find a way to keep this baby cool. I couldn't believe how hot the car runs with the intercooler in place. I saw 234 degree yesterday and I don't have the blower install yet. I like what you did with the two heat exchangers but I have a vararam on the car. I may get rid of the vararam and try your setup. Again thanks!
MIKE
I found the correct wire. I have one of the earlier intercooler kits, it came with the upgraded fuel pump. I completed the install today. I drove around with the hood off to check for leaks. Got a lot of looks and comments with the yellow blower exposed. I still have to get it tuned. I have the stock injectors in it so I can't get into boost. Fuel pressure is at 60lbs. All appears to be green! Thanks!

Yes it came with 42lbs injectors. I brought a used complete (new) never install kit. The superchip programmer is VIN specific so I can't install the tune. That what I was told. (both cars are 03's) I'm too impatient to send it back and wait for it to be program for my car. When I get it tuned I will switch the 42's back in it. I put a 3.0" pulley on it and have other mods so the stock tune wouldn't work anyhow.

Buy HPTuners and we can help you with a starter tune.
RJW,
I have the 2 bar setup now and love it. SOTP tells me is is a lot more responsive without the MAF. I'm still working on my BE AFR (~5% rich). LTFT/STFT are low negatives too. Once done the 3.1 pulley goes on, more timing and turn the alky back on (tuning without but pulled timing to be safe).
Good luck with the project....need pics!

I saw that they beat you up a little over at the hp forum...
It' like going to bootcamp...youy gotta eat chit and be humble...and maybe you'll get something out of it.
I hope that i helped a bit...?

That doesn't surprise me. Some of those people over there should be banned. That just gives HPT a bad rep, when you can go ask questions without someone getting an attitude. I got so mad over there once, I almost went and bought EFI live.
