Cam advice?
thanks for the good info, keep it up.

Good Cam, but keep in mind that KP was running 9.4X with a 01 Z06 cam also with his D1SC procharged land rocket of a stock cubed LS F-Body. His car is a ***** out drag car, are you going to drag your car often or more street use. If street use, I would lean toward a smaller cam as suggested earlier. If you are making this more into a race car then this cam could be perfect. Decisions, decisions, and it seems like you are inclinded to lean towards the bigger cam and if yes, this would be a great cam for you but you will probably lose a little down low.

There will be the occasional trip to the track, but the primary use is for the street.
Some say the G5X-3 is too big for the street, but it has worked out ok for me so far....and it is bigger than the one in question now

In retrospect, given all your feedback, you would be very happy with running the EPP cam that Bob recommends that is something like 232/240 on a 115lsa?
I also think given the fact that your G5X3 cam is on a 114lsa, and you love it N/A, that you would also be fine just keeping that cam as it wil make big power up top and you already like the way it feels and lopes in the lower rpms (which will be exactly how it behaves off the boost). The EPP cam is better for your new application, but your G5X3 cam is more than doable given your likes and objectives for your machine and may just want to save some $ that you will need for drivelime and more imporantly fuel system upgrades!
