Side Mounted Twin Screw Kits

have little interest in following-up on their thread, as can be seen by the lack of responce in almost 3 weeks.
Here is the thread
Anyway, I really like the idea of this system, and I think it has a whole lot of potential. I would just like to see the company be more interested in marketing their product. It also looks like there would be alot of interest by many people. Just want to see what the future of a system like this holds.
Also wondering if any of the other Corvette tuners are possibly looking into coming out with a side mounted twin screw blower kit like this one.
That said, if they see this, I would really like to see them work this out air to air as I think the added weight/complexity of air to water would be undesirable. This is just my uninformed opinion though.

So I replied that Dragon has basically stopped responding to posts on this forum.
The next response was that Dragon was playing with A/W setups as well as the A/A shown in that picture and a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo in Dragon's defense. So it makes sense to me that they MAY be having heat problems, in that they may be playing with different I/C options.
On a side note and with obvious prejudice: While it may fit under an OEM hood, does anyone really think that on top of the header is a good location for a supercharger?

It will take some serious heat shielding on the bottom, BUT at least it is not sitting/touching the block and absorbing all that heat... I still have hope for this system...
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I you could get them to reply to posts in their thread as well, I am sure that some here would appreciate it.
Our C5 version has not been completed, thus there has not been mention of this on the forums yet. The above picture is for the C6. The C6 supercharger is available, and only became available this month. Please see my post stating that the kit will not be shipping until August.
I would rather supply valid information, rather than set expectations for products and when they become available. I know that 100% of the effort for this kit was for the C6, with the C5 coming later.
I'm sorry if many of you feel that "we are doing bad business" by not responding every post within minutes of it being made public. I beleive if your questions are urgent, you could call or send an email.
I would rather sell someone on this forum, a reliable product that has been tested throughly. I would rather make sure our product kit is easily assembled by some what mechanically inclined people.
We are working to do good business with our customers, I do not see why everyone is so eager to poke at us. Stating negative things on a forum on mear assumptions is bad. I thought most of the people here on the forum were good people, I guess there are always a few that are there.
To state again, the C5 version of this supercharger is not yet available. We do not have any solid timeframes as of yet, but there will be a post as soon as reliable information is available.
Feel free to PM if you wish to discuss anything further.
Thanks!

Looks like a very interesting piece of design, wish you the best of luck with it. Certainly I don't think anyone would ever expect a vendor/manufacturer to start selling a product before it's 100% ready to go - good to see you're adopting this as SOP
The problem with the web/message boards, is people have a "real time" assumption - information is expected to be available on demand and quickly (as in NOW).
You have to be a little careful about floating an item out there, with language (I read the link in Post #1) that is in present tense, and with pricing, pictures, specs - even with the "shipping on date <soon>" disclaimer, it's going to generate questions and comments (it's just the nature of having an instant audience of 100K+ people on this site).
If you post on a forum with this volume of traffic you +have+ to be prepared to answer questions or get dinged (whether accurate or not) with a "doesn't care" sort of vendor label (which you certainly don't seem to be!). Maybe even a little more of a "disclaimer" like "This is a pre-release so please let me do X-Y-Z before I field any questions - we are super busy!"
Again, best of luck!
