Default STC Turbo

Has anyone heard from STC? Marko had a nice looking twin turbo setup a while back but he seems to have fallen off the planet.

Yup Actually STC copied HP Performance vette & f-body kits and started marketing them as their own

Long gone and the few people that purchased kit had problems getting complete kit. Not sure anybody is actually running it.

out of business ,management issues, bad things happened with the camaro crowd. thing kit was not a "copy" of an hp kit, just same turbo location. thats like calling the aps kit a copy of the lingenfelter kit. anyway, I'm still around as an independant tuner (Willem de Koning), the gu that designed and tuned everything at that shop and I may be doing limited runs of turbo kits.. but one at a time.

I probably have the only "full" production kit , and its completely bad ***, and I am willing to sell it for a very fair price. It has about 1000 miles on it, and I will include refreshened Precision Turbo 61mm P trim turbochargers with it. PM me if anyones interested.. this kit is COMPLETE.. anyone who's seen my black vette in person can vouch for how bad *** it looks and all the polishing work i did on it.

Are you planning on becoming a forum vendor?

PS- one MAJOR thing to set it apart from the HP kit... the IC piping which is all stainless does NOT go over the wheels. I'll have some pics up in the for sale section soon. keep posted if you're interested. I made >600 rwhp with this kit on a stock shortblock with 8 psi of boost and cranked it up to 18 at byron last sunday to see how much the stock motor can handle. Based on my inj duty cycles and a/f ratio logs from the run the car putting down around 750rwhp. The bottom end gave out completely.

If anyone was at byron, I was the black vette on CCWs doing a shakedown pass (no launch), hitting it only after i shifted to second and exploding the stock block in 3rd gear, leaving a mess on the track. Sorry boys . Just R&D. at least 3 holes so far i can see in the block, including a 6" hole directly in the BOTTOM of the oil pan. Don't worry though, the kit is being sold cleaned out with the turbos REFURBISHED to brand new by precision. They only had 1000 miles anyway, but considering my motor failure i def want them to check for debris in the turbos (though i do run inlet filters on the oil end).

PS, for anyone that was at byron you can attest I didnt launch and was only on it LATE for a couple of seconds before it exploded and still coasted thru the 1/8 trap at around 95mph.. i then coasted the rest of the quarter to a 13.1 at 89 or something.

In the pics of the kit I see the "custom" radiator lay down that you guys had copied from my 03 zo6 that I actually had Wheel 2 Wheel do.You remember, the blue one with a "gremlin" that was untunable after a month and a half and $700 later. There are definetly reasons you guys are gone alright.
