I just wanted to publicly shout out a big THANK YOU! to obxfunn! What a great guy!
I had mentioned on the Forum a while back that I was trying to get an installation manual for a Kenne-Bell kit. but KB wasn't answering my emails (). obxfunn sent a PM and offered to send me his manual, free of charge! He wouldn't even let me defray the shipping! Now that's what I call right neighbourly!
He said something about making a copy of the manual in case he ever needed to refer to it in future. Fine by me, a free copy would be great. Well, he sent ME the original and kept the copy!
So, here's a hat's off and a big hip-hip-hooray for obxfunn, a gentleman, scholar, and all-around the kind of guy that makes CF proud.
In appreciation I have this day sent a check for $25 to the CF St. Jude's fund, in obxfunn's name.

Why does KB keep their manual top secret?
You can download all the maggie manuals right off their site...
Unless the installation is a total nightmare, you would think that manufacturers would want people to know what's invloved and how easy it is to install a manifold, etc.
It wouldnt be possible for them to put the manual online.
Its a couple HUNDRED pages, with 300-400 pictures..
Its SIGNIFICANTLY more comprehensive then the maggie installation manual. It outlines EVERY nut, bolt, and splice. It even shows you pictures of every inch of electrical tape you need. If it says you need to cut a 1" splice of wire, it actually shows you the 1" splice of wire..

It's called a pdf file
I have several that I have written that are over 200 pages long...need to get into the 21st century over at kb..

I've gotta give 'em credit, it IS probably the most impressive installation manual I've ever seen, for anything. I wonder if I could ever find an installer who would actually follow ALL the steps?

Actually, that would be the best place to put it and save quite a few trees! I'm by no means a tree hugger, just a person that would like to help save our planet! I do my part by recycling!
Then if a person wants it, they can burn it to disc, put it on a laptop or pc and look at it at their convenience. Just food for thought!
He didnt happen to include the 4 or 5 blower pulleys I loaned him about 6 months ago did he??
Jeff,
Hee hee, I just really like these pullies. I still have not got the car back from when I was using your pullies, you know the issues there. I will have to PM you the new updates... good lord will this thing ever get done!!
I will get the other Jeff (CAM) to send them to you if I dont get the car back within a week.
Heck, I owe American_HP more than you guys know for all of his help. I am just trying to pay a little back to the forum.
Thanks for the kind words and the donation to St. Jude's!
