Getting Nitrous, Question
Im getting a NX Nitrous Plate System w/100 or 150 wet shot for the vette. I have the following mods: Stock 99 engine with a G5X4, SVO 30# injectors, LS6 Intake, LG Pro LT's, and Bullet exhaust. Tuned by Vengeance Racing. My question is will 100 shot be ok without a tune? Will a 150 shot require a tune? Thanks for any input and info!

It depends. If the tune that you have is not too aggresive I don't see a 100 shot being a big deal. Call your tuner and see what he did with the timing. There is an ouside chance that a tune will be in order. Besides, it never hurts to have a tune. 100 shot on a stock tune is no problem.

I would get the tune ,if it was me ,would u like to rebuild the bottom end ,& have to replace a piston because u skimmped out on a $ 300.00 tune ,also i had a 100shot on my car @ 1 time , i had mods simalar to yours & i had an Ls1 edit ,but truth be known ,i ran with that tune on the 100 shot with no problems , I put the kit on the car after the tune & i didnt go back & get a new tune .you prolly will be fine without one ,i just know its insurance , plus my 00 was pig rich without the tune from the factory ,u may be able to hook up a adjustable pressure regulator & turn it up when u get rdy to juice it
